The Tundra Ecology Lab at VistÍs conference!

Several members of the lab were present at the Icelandic Ecological Society Meeting in Reykjavík this 5th of April!

The Icelandic Ecological Society meeting was hosted in Askja this 5th of April

Two members presented oral presentations, Bastien during the first session "Biodiversity and Conservation" and Mathilde during the "Terrestrial Ecology" session!
Bastien with his presentation on bryosphere diversity!
We also had several posters relating to tundra Ecology, with Nori presenting a poster on "Spatial and Temporal Variations of Insect Herbivory in the Icelandic Highlands", but also Axel presenting his poster "Grazing Cessation Affects Plant Traits of Palatable Species" and finally Marta presenting "Dairy sheep farming: a solution to valorize abandoned mountain rangeland" and Isabel having a nice poster about the new project NordBorN "NordBorN: a research and educational platform to understand borealization in the Nordic region".
Axel with his nice poster!

Thank you to all the participants to the VistIs conference! It was again a nice way to connect to all the ecologists in Iceland and see you next year!!
